Objective
This app is targeted at users who work, operate and do business as they travel to different parts of the world. B.meet is an app to book business spaces nested in business hotels and commercial complexes for meetings and setting up makeshift offices. It is targeted at frequent business travelers and also users who intend to have an office whenever the need arises for short or long durations of time.
I managed all aspects of the app development while keeping the stakeholders’ business requirements in view. Was involved in conducting user research, wireframing, competitive audit report generation, prototyping and usability testing.
The goal of the app is to help users while they search, choose and select formal meeting spaces in hotels or business centers to work or conduct business. It gives them the power to schedule meetings quickly and easily on the fly.
Personas
Challenge
- There are a few apps which are in the direct and indirect competitive spaces to compete with.
- To create an exclusive yet inclusive experience for all users from varying targeted age groups and user categories.
- To create and transform the app into a tool which comes to mind by default when a work space or meeting space is required no matter where.
- The pain point indicated by most users was the need to book business spaces for short periods of time on a tight schedule. They all wanted to use the facility by paying while saving time arranging for everything themselves. So, B.meet has to be simple, easy and quick in completing the task of booking.
Method & Ideation
- Conduct user research to understand pain points to identify the problem to solve
- Carry out a competitive audit to gather insights on direct and indirect competition
- Create an affinity diagram for a deeper understanding
- Build paper and low fidelity prototype to get feedback from potential users
- Modify the low-fi prototype and develop a hi-fi version based on user feedback
- Conducting usability testing to gather feedback in order to integrate into the final product
Solution
Developed an app that helps users in booking office spaces and business meetings. This app will change the perception about having an office and doing business in foreign cities.
