I was contracted to ideate and come up with information architecture, flow and design of ‘Hale’ App which brings people closer to an integrated, personalised health care and support system.
Objective
‘Hale’ is an entire health care system in the form of an easy-to-use web and mobile app which will be a single, simple yet all-inclusive platform to find doctors, get virtual & physical appointments, request for lab tests at home and an online pharmacy.
Challenge
- There are a few similar apps in the same space and ‘Hale’ has to be unique while being competitive in terms of the features and customer support.
- Create an exclusive experience on web and mobile apps for both patients/customers at one end and hospitals/doctors/clinics/businesses at the other.
- To facilitate and propagate usage based on the services and information being provided to end users.
- To digitally replicate and integrate everything a user can possibly do physically at a healthcare centre.
- To create an experience with each interaction that helps the user achieve his end goal easily to build their confidence on ‘Hale’ as a healthcare service facilitator.
Method & Ideation
- Conduct user research to understand their primary and secondary needs with concerns
- Create information architecture
- Generate a roadmap for stage based feature addition
- Low fidelity wireframes to capture initial feedback on user journeys
- Develop mind maps, wireframes and prototypes
- Usability testing for feedback from preliminary sketches, prototypes to final product
Solution
Developed an app which brings convenience and reliable service to users while increasing business and market penetration to hospitals and healthcare centres.
